we are searching for an energetic and outgoing assistant accountant/accounts payable to join our finance team in warriewood. working alongside the finance manager, you will have the opportunity to develop a diverse range of skills through your involvement with various departments within the business.

the core responsibilities of this role include:

- assistance with accounting functions such as general ledger reconciliations, maintenance of financial worksheets, bas preparations, month end accounts & ad hoc reporting
- data entry of supplier invoices
- correspondence with suppliers with respect to payments, credits, allocations and general account queries (both verbal and written)
- updating and managing cashflow model
- forecasting supplier payments for cashflow purposes
- managing foreign exchange

the successful applicant will possess:

- relevant tertiary qualifications
- working towards CPA/CA certification
- prior experience in similar role
